National Park Beartrap Fork

Beartrap Trail is not one of the more well known trails in the Big Cottonwood Canyon area. It can be a little hard to find the trail head and often people believe it is private property. It is a challenging trail that, as with most of the trail in the Cottonwood Canyons, is mostly an uphill grind most of the way to the top. But for those willing to trek up the Beartrap Trail, fantastic views abound and the view of Desolation Lake is incredible!
